
The Missouri Supreme Court ruled that the state cannot use its newly redrawn congressional map for this year’s elections.
The redrawn map was specifically designed to eliminate one Democratic-held congressional seat, a move that had drawn legal challenges.
Following the court’s decision, Republicans filed an emergency appeal to the state’s high court, seeking to overturn the ruling and restore the contested map.
